Jasmine, Kaylee, and Leah were debating the merits of very short hair cuts for women. Not Sinead O'Conner short - which was more like shaved. But short enough to where even a six inch ruler would be three or four inches too long.

"I think very short can look very sophisticated," Kaylee argued. "Not that I have any very short hair cut ideas or aspirations. But I don't think there is anything as too short anymore. To me it just depends on whether you can pull it off or not."

"Remember a short hair cut will really emphasize a round face or large ears. So anyone with those features may not be best served with a super short cut. Since that type of shortest haircuts won't be very flattering. But if you've got great eyes…"

Leah chimed in, "Yeah but, while you'd think otherwise, there is actually more maintenance. You've got to get it cut like every 4 weeks, verses every 6-7 weeks, to keep it neat looking."

"Oh and with extremely short hair plan on washing it every morning because sleeping on it can make it look worse than awful."

"Well I think the worst part is you're stuck with it," Jasmine pointed out. "There just aren't many styling options with very short hairstyles. And I'd get tired of the same old same old every day. I like the flexibility of being able to go up, down, half up or whatever. Which is why when it come to hair cut ideas, short, shorter or shortest aren't that appealing to me. But that could just be me."

Obviously there is more to think about than one might have imagined.

But can very short hair cuts for women be super sexy? Definitely!
