Very short haircuts were not something that Amy Kostanski ever have much thought to. Or spent much time thinking about either.

It’s not like she ignored fashion and hair issues. It’s just that she didn’t think she was suited to for a very short haircut. Besides none of her friends from college were that into short hair either.

Then WHAM. Now all of a sudden wherever she looks, the 24 year old marketing analyst keeps seeing women sporting very short haircuts.

"It's not just those I see around me," shared Kostanski. "I'm also seeing such hair styles on a lot of female celebs these days. It made me reconsider getting a very short haircut style myself."

But Amy's cautious. "I don't want to be in a hurry to pick out very short haircuts for myself just because some celebrity's got one too," she said candidly. "I've seen a lot of girls pick bad hair styles and regret it later. I'm going to do a lot of thinking before I get my hair done that way."

Level headed and practical is how Amy comes across. Maybe because she requires such traits in her job?

"Perhaps," laughed Amy, "but I can't really say. I just don't want to make any fashion mistakes that I might repent afterwards. Your hair style is always going to be noticed almost at once when anyone looks at you. So the way I get mine done is important. It has to suit my face pattern which is a bit of an oval."

Looks like Amy's research is paying off because she's already got herself a list of stylists who are great at very short haircuts.

"Yeah, I asked around a lot, looked on the net, etc, and came up with some good stylists in my area. Once I've picked the style I want, you'll see me with one of those very short haircuts too!"
