Lindsay DeVore never believed very short haircuts for women were something she should spend any time even thinking about. "Didn't give them a second thought," she freely admitted.

"That was in large part due to my height," explained Lindsay.

"I'm 5'11". Which makes me pretty tall by anybody's standards for women. Always was taller than the boys until high school. For that reason I never once thought about a short haircut. For women who are like, you know, really petite and small, okay. Cute short haircuts for women would be just right for them. But not for me. Know what I mean?"

Lindsay always believed her long mane suited her face best. "I had hair falling to my waist at one point. And I liked that for the longest time. Clearly I didn't see myself as a candidate for any kind of short haircut for women."

"But you know what? It got really tough to maintain. Plus I was just tired of my look. It was time for a change. So I did ask a few friends to suggest a few good styles for me but I never heard anything I liked."

"Then one day my co worker, Kathy, took me along to the salon one day at lunch. Saying that she would show me the perfect style for me. I was so surprised when both Kathy and the stylist said that I should be looking at very short haircuts for women. I said, 'Hello, look at me, can you really see me like that?' But then I looked at a computer simulation of myself with short hair. That was pretty cool. I never believed short hair would suit my face so well. But I took the plunge and wound up getting my hair cut after all!"

Lindsay added, "Now I'm happy with my style. Which is basically almost shoulder length. But shorter than that - no way! I'm still not convinced very short haircuts for women are for me. But you know? Short haircuts are a good idea. I like the way this cut accentuates my eyes. Seemingly so do the guys."
