"And talk about options. For example when I want a really curly hair day I add some curl defining mousse or curling gel and then rather then brush, it's time for scrunching it in. Yeah I don't brush. That just ruins the curls. I stick with scrunching and then let what happens happen. "

"When the weather is especially hot or humid and I want to go natural that day," Channing added, "I use some pure coconut oil on it and then just kinda scrunch it up again."

"For a more wavy look I go with something like Ocean Waves and in this case I do brush out my hair. Then I twist a bunch of sections together and add some gel to hold them there. Shaking them out gives me the wave I want."
