Diane Fadorsen did. She was oh so fed up with her image as the somber-girl-next door type. Rather than go with some really radical, Fadorsen decided to shorten the length to give herself time to adjust.

"I had it cut to a little below shoulder length," she explained. "My long time stylist, Stephanie, told me that she could easily work her magic with this length to curl my hair since curly hair styles tend to look shorter than straight ones anyway."

With the length just right, Diane got her hair curled using a curling iron.

Finally, Setphanie went to work again, doing some final cutting and styling.

Result? Diane had a completely new look. One she fell in love with at first sight.

"Yes it's been absolutely worth it," agreed Diane emphatically. "Short curly hairstyles make such a big difference. I'm happy to say I'm now regarded as a more fun loving type and not as the girl who spends all her time on homework and studying for tests!”

“I also think the new me helped me catch the eye of Aaron too,” she added with a smile. Aaron being her new boyfriend.
