How About a Shampoo and Conditioner In One For Color Treated Hair?
What Are Some Quick Tips For a Shampoo For Color Treated Hair?
Jodie McKormick's been looking for a shampoo and conditioner in one for color treated hair ever since she got her hair done a few weeks back.
|
She said, "I got tired of being a brunette so I've switched over to being a redhead for a while. Everything's gone fine so far, the color job they did on my hair was fabulous. And it really suits my skin tone and all.
"But," here it comes, "but when it comes to caring for my color treated hair, well - I was clueless. What did I know about shampoo for color treated hair? I had never done that before," Jodie pointed out with a smile.
"You see," Ms. McKormick went on, "I thought I could go back to my old shampoo and conditioner without any problems."

"But then my stylist tells me I need to use something different like a shampoo for color treated hair specifically. Who knew?"
Jodie asked her for suggestions for the best shampoo for color treated hair and got a couple of recommendations. Her stylist Kristen suggested that she go for the Warren Tricomi HairCare System. While her best friend Sherry told Jodie that she preferred the Redken Color Extend line.
"I can't make up my mind just yet," said Jodie with a sigh. "I really wanted a shampoo and conditioner in one for color treated hair. You know? That's more convenient than buying each separately. However both these products mentioned include a shampoo and conditioner in one for color treated hair - plus some extra features as well. That's why I'm finding it so tough to choose."
Tip: You want to wait at least 24 after coloring before you shampoo. Washing your hair too soon after any dye job can result in some loss of color.
While the Redken line color has depositing conditioners and a strengthening treatment, Warren-Tricomi's Three C system goes beyond shampoo and conditioning. "It includes stuff to make the hair shafts shiny and strong," Jodie clarified.
Hmmm. No wonder Jodie's been finding it tough to make her choice of a shampoo and conditioner in one for color treated hair!
