Kress is a self-confessed hair enthusiast.

"I just love planning out new hair styles for everyone I know," she said. "I especially like very trendy short cuts. Layered styles are another of my favorites."

Barb feels when straightening your hair, it's always better to get it done by a professional the first time. This way, you'll be having a positive hair straightening experience.

True enthusiast's always want to carry a small comb and some spray or hair serum with them at all times. "Those are two must-haves you'll need almost anywhere you go. No matter what haircut you have.”

After getting your haircut, apply some shine serum along the ends. "This will make your hair look gloosy and accentuate the new cut," informed Barb.

Barb's own favorite picks for hair styles of 2007 are the inverted bob and the medium layered cut.

"The bob looks so classy and it's really becoming a fave everywhere at present," she observed. "While the medium layered cut is just perfect as a style that can adapt itself to absolutely any situation, be it an event or just a ordinary day in the neighbourhood."
