"For one we went to a shorter cut. Since a longer style only makes thin hair more obvious. What happens is all that long hair will end up flattening out and highlight the fact that hair that was there wasn't anymore."

"We also went more for layers since they create the illusion of fullness. And I found out that volumizers were another thickening trick. But avoided anything that weighed my hair down."

"And," Claire reported, "I laid off the heat only blow drying at the lowest setting. No sense damaging the hair I had left. Air drying rather than blow drying became the preferred approach. Funny, what the hair looked like didn't matter as much as if there was any to begin with."
