Hair Coloring Product Comparisons Made Easy

Tips On How To Choose the Best Home Hair Coloring Products

Candy Warrington felt she had boring auburn hair. Know the feeling? She blamed that for acting like a shy wallflower whenever she went out. Her boredom was the driving force behind her seeking out hair coloring product comparisons. Feeling if she could find an appropriate hair color, that would change her look without changing her hairstyle. Plus her outlook would change too.

Warrington said, "I want my hair to look beautiful, vibrant, and glowing like my friends! I know it's possible with the right hair color or highlights! I just need to be pointed in the right direction when it comes to the best home hair coloring products. Know what I mean? I don't want to wreck my hair - just change the color."

At the local beauty salon, Candy confided her feelings about hair dye to her favorite stylist Rosie Chandler.

Rosie reassured her confidently saying, "For one, if dyeing is done right, nothing will happen to your hair. What with the rapid advances in coloring and hair dyeing products you can now be pretty assured of a quality outcome. But then too, I'm trained on how to use professional hair coloring products correctly."

"Also what color you go with depends on your natural hair color," she said running her fingers through Candy's hair to gauge what she was working with and how much more she needed to trim. "That's what really determines the tone you should buy."

"Then some clients will try a semi permanent color first. You know? to try a color on for size knowing it will wash out in a after a few times in the shower," Chandler added. "This is probably best for any novice home hair dyer."

Reassured, but unwilling to pay salon prices, Candy searched around on Goggle for the best hair coloring product. There she found a lists of them and made some notes about various products from the hair coloring product comparisons she found. These let her easily and quickly compare many of the more popular hair coloring options.

For instance, some felt Revlon-Colorsilk was the best, but was probably a little on the expensive side.

While Clairol's Natural Instincts product was said to be an easy-to-use semi-permanent coloring solution that washes out in 25-30 shampooings.

If you're looking for a wide range of colors Clairol's permanent color Nice 'n Easy was a popular choice.

One of the reviews raved that Garnier Nutrisse lasted a long time. Seems the color barely faded too. This treatment seemed very popular actually.

L'Oreal Preference, which is permanent but a little expensive too. While L'Oreal Feria, seems to have better colors and a larger pack for longer hair.

Oh and if longer hair is an issue, you can simply get two boxes of coloring. That's probably best to do if your hair is longer than shoulder-length.

Candy was delighted with what she learned. "Although reviews and comparisons of all the hair coloring products were positive I ultimately decided to have my first time coloring done by Rosie at the salon."

Rose was more than happy to dye Candy's hair a gorgeous burgundy with vibrant wine-colored streaks. Candy declared, "I'm not the wallflower any more but more like the belle of every ball."
