Female Haircuts: Some Mistakes to be Avoided

Just get back from the stylist with the worst haircut of your life ever? Desperate for female haircuts that won't go wrong no matter what?

In that case, here are some women’s haircuts tips that you definitely don't wanna miss.

Actually Hailey Wheeler will never forget the day she got home from the salon with the worst haircut she had ever received. Talk about a bad hair day!

"I just wanted to crawl into a hole and die," recalled the attractive sophomore. "My hair looked like I'd cut out chunks of it with my eyes shut. That was a laugh, seeings that I'd been to a really expensive topnotch salon for my haircut. I guess, when it comes to haircutting that just goes to show a big name and rep isn't everything. Seems I should have checked around more before setting my appointment."

Lindy Althoff is someone else who won't forget her recent salon experience any time soon. Mention female spike haircuts, female military haircuts or choppy female haircuts to her and the 22 year old literally shuddders.

"I can't believe I ever let myself be talked into getting one of those," she winced. "I should have my head examined! My hair looked like I'd been attacked by a mob of angry scissor-wielding aliens. Luckily, I did the best thing possible. I went and got another haircut the very next day at a different salon."

Hold on, another haircut right after a really bad one?

"Yeah, that's the only thing to be done," said Lindy. "Obviously you can't hide at home waiting for your hair to grow out. Besides another stylist (a good one mind you!) can help you out by repairing some of the damage done during your fashion fiasco."

Moral of the story? Always check how the stylist interacts with you and with other customers. Are they giving enough attention to each client? Do they seem to know what they’re doing. It is part science and part art you know.

Said Hailey, "Hey it’s your hair. And that ability inquiry is a no-brainer. You really want a stylist who will take the time to discuss your hair type and explore the ideal female haircuts for you with you.”

“It’s also wise to check out as many pictures of female haircuts as you can beforehand. So as you yourself can determine what suits you best."

Want some 'won't go wrong no matter what' haircuts?

"Layered female haircuts definitely," said Hailey emphatically. "You can't go wrong with those. Layered haircuts suit just about any hair type. But you need to watch out if you're getting any highlighting done," she added with a grin. "You don't want to end up looking cheap and tacky. Believe it or not female haircuts really do need a lot of care and attention. Both before and after you leave the salon."
