"All I see now are bob hair style photos," observed Kathleen Weaver flipping through the magazine she had just bought. "French style bob, medium style bob, graduated bob hair style or angeled bob hair style, it doesn't matter - anyone can see bob style haircuts are obviously back again."

Kathleen likes checking out various bob style haircuts. "It's become a game to me now," she said, "spotting which celebrity has what type of bob. And figuring out how I could get such a sophisticated style myself."

The bob is such a cute and fresh style at the moment, no wonder so many women are rushing to get themselves one of these sexy hairstyles.

Ever since first Victoria Beckham and then her new found friend Katie Holmes showed off their new bobs, Kathleen feels the number of ladies with a bob style has only increased.

"I mean, at the beginning of this year, you could barely spot a bob in a magazine like this. And now all of a sudden, they are everywhere. I guess it's the celebrity buzz," said Weaver.

Blame it on the celebs or not, there's no denying the bob is a trendy, easy to wear hair style.

Once you get your hair cut in this style there is no end to the versatility of the no-fuss bob.

Even better to keep it in place, you can actually just use your fingers. Really.

Kathleen thinks some hair spray would be a good idea on a windy day but otherwise, "the bob just naturally falls into place," she said. "I'm glad to see those chin length styles, they really go well with sharp featured faces."

In spite of her deep fascination with bob style haircuts, it seems Kathleen is not likely to get herself a chic bob hair style any time soon however.

"Nope, not gonna happen, not yet anyway," she added flipping her shoulder length blonde hair back casually. "Even though some believe there is nothing like a nicely cut bob, I'm quite comfortable with my look for now. But when I feel I want a change, I'll definitely be thinking about bob style haircuts."

Like all hairstyles, as Kathleen pointed out clean-cut bob style haircuts come in and go out of fashion. If they didn’t how would the glossy magazines get anything to write about if they couldn’t include their obligatory hair care article each month?

And it truly is an easy to care for hairstyle. You can literally wash it and be out the door without any time spent primping and trying to tame and otherwise out of control style.

Now if you’ve got a round face, you’ll want a shorter cut.

Girls with longer faces want their bobs cut just below the chin line.

Angular faces can use a bob with a bit of a choppier cut to soften their overall look.

Still you’d be better off before venturing forth to get a professional’s opinion to determine the best bob for you.

Unfortunately, there are limitations to this cut. Those with super thick or naturally curly hair might not be happy with one.

Then too since so many bobs are layered, those with thin fine hair may not be either.
